Our development approach is evidence-based and built on best practices learned from decades of work. We know the most effective way to transform children’s lives is to transform the work in which they live their family, community, local area, and country. We speak the language, live with them and learn from them.

We go where the need is greatest to help the most vulnerable children around Burma. We’re dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. We partner with local governments, NGOs, churches and with others who are open to similar goals and objectives.

Since 2001, Open Myanmar foundation has been in the battle for the rights of persecuted minorities around Myanmar. It has come to the aid of few hundreds of suffering men, women and children through the distribution of food, water, medicine, clothing, educational supplies in Myanmar. OMF also assists mobile clinics, orphanage schools in Myanmar and refugee camps, centers and other private schools in Myanmar.

But OMF work is not limited to the distribution of relief. Over the years, OMF has consistently remained active as a “voice for the voiceless” for Myanmar ethnic minorities, providing political advocacy and practical grassroots action on behalf of the millions of Myanmar ethnic minorities who routinely suffer for their identity and faith.
